Environment
The Pacific Northwest is by the ocean and has a big forest. The ocean has lots of fish and can serve as a passage way for canoes. They relied on the ocean to survive because fish was their main source of food. The forest meant they had lots of trees to make houses. They also had firewood and shade. The forest also gave them food to eat like fruits, berries, and nuts like walnuts.
